Event Description

Embassy Review : My appointment was for 9am, I lined up by 8:30am and was greeted by the gate by two lovely young ladies and entered the embassy around 8:45am.
I was greeted again by a very friendly young female who handed me a folder with a list of all the documents to be placed in and was told to listen for my name while being seated in the immigrant section. It has been approximately 8 years I had visited the embassy so a lot have changed inside.
Approximately at 9:00am they called my name as the consulate staff proceeded to go through my documents and put them in order while asking a few questions.
Eg.
1. Who is the petitioner
2. The address of where I will be going
3. Have I ever stayed anywhere longer that 6 months
4. Have I ever been to the US. Yes and that my visitor visa is still valid

Then I was told to be seated. Approximately 40mins later i was told to approach to the counter

Questions were more of a conversation..

1. When did my fiancee and I met.
2. How many times have we seen each other
3. What do I like about my fiancé
4. How did he propose to me
5.Where does he live

And that was it

The medical was also really nice.. I highly recommend Dr Renata Pooran the staff members are so friendly and nice. Be sure to get your shots before from the health centre as they are free at cost. However not all shots are required. Medical cost was - $1550TTD or $230USD.
Vaccines are an additional cost.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
