Hey, has your case been marked as ready on the CEAC site? My petition left the NVC the same time as yours but is in transit still. Wondering how you scheduled an interview already for next week when London haven’t marked it as ready or even received it yet?

Since the CEAC is running on eastern standard time it probably hasn’t updated yet. But if you go to https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv (this is where you book your appointment) it will tell you if your case is ready. It won’t allow you to book until it is ready for an interview. That’s at the London Embassy so they are already halfway through the day there and have updated their system.

Thanks for replying! I tried that site but it says to select an option before scheduling and I assume it’s this one, “I have received a letter from the consular section with instructions to register or schedule a K visa appointment†did you pick that one? I haven’t received any instructions from them yet. How can you see on there that your case is in ready status?

So my fiancé and I tested it based on the information we found online and before the case was sent to the NVC we made sure it said “Case not ready for an interview†and we did the same on the day it was sent (so the first day in transit). It still said it was not ready for an interview. Based on what I saw from others who recently had cases sent in on the last embassy mailing, it took 3 days. So he tried today and it no longer gave that message, instead it allowed him to book an interview appointment. Basically we just made sure it wouldn’t allow us to book unless the Embassy really was ready.
And yes, the K option is the one you select. If you go to London’s embassy website you know everything you need to prepare for the appointment. We did a lot these past two months just so we could be ready to go the second it was received.

And you guys were able to schedule your medical before interview as well? They don’t have a big wait time to schedule?

He did his medical on January 23rd. He scheduled it the Friday before, so it was only like 3 business days to get in for medical. I just followed the tips of some filers who just completed the interview process and they got in early by scheduling the medical before the embassy received the case and by using the embassy's checklist online. So not a long wait for anything in London right now :)

Hi! May I ask if you have been interviewed for the adjustment of status yet? I am also located at the Jacksonville office, and I saw I couple cases filed in July got interview scheduled already. Kind of worried about mine.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
