Event Description
Review Date : October 29, 2018
Embassy Review : My interview was at 9.30am, it turned up at 9am as instructed on the guidance email. I went through security and then it was straight to the first window. Here I had to show all of my original copies of the civil documents I had submitted. I was then told to wait for my number to be called again. It was called after five minutes, if that, at the second window I was asked a few questions
Where does your husband live?
Did he grow up in that city?
What does he do for work?
What do you do for work?
Then we had a laugh at the fact that I had uploaded a document from my work computer which didn't make any sense. Then we were laughing at a funny photo we had submitted in our relationship evidence.
In total it took twenty minutes tops!
It was fast, friendly and I really enjoyed the experience!
I was nervous beforehand as my husband sponsored me with assets not in income as he isn't currently working. But it was all fine and I had nothing to worry about. I'm so excited for the future.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
