Hi Catherine I was wondering if you still haven’t received the packet ? Just trying to compare timelines because I may need to cancel my flight.

Hi Catherine I was wondering if you still haven’t received the packet ? Just trying to compare timelines because I may need to cancel my flight.

Which packet are you referring to?

From the NVC with your case number. He can’t do his medicals till we have that.

Well the packet has already been sent and received by the Consulate Office. I am scheduling interview now.

I scheduled my interview but the embassy hasn’t received the case yet, i guess what I’m trying to find out is how long after your I129F approval did you receive the email with the NVC case number

I called the NVC and also checked on their website daily. It took about 1 month I think for it to be sent and received at the embassy.

Thank you i got ahead of myself and scheduled for 12/11 but i don’t think that’s going to happen since NVC just received it 11/19

I think you can change it up to 3 times if needed. I don't know if it depends on country. Are you also for Dominican Republic? If so, I would leave it and just see how things go. They normally move quicker then what they did with mine.

I just don’t want to lose the money for the flights if we don’t get things in time. I’ll call the medicals place to see what they say, that’s all we are missing.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
