Upon arrival at TPA,I stood in the visitors line. Immigration officer asked where I was going, as she opened my passport and ended up opening the page with the visa. She asked if it was the first time I was entering using the visa which I replied yes. She asked if I had any food, and I informed her of the food I had. She asked if I had any alcohol or fresh plant based food/meat,which I did not. She then took me to secondary area and gave my passport to another IO. He called me to the counter 5 mins later, asked I confirm the address for the greencard to be posted. He also explained that with the stamp in the passport I can apply for a job,SSN etc and expect the physical greencard in 2 months. |

That's the date I got from NVC. I too was surprised as to why the interview is so far out

Hello, may I ask what the RFE was for? We've just received a notification of RFE but there isn't any document on the uscis page. Is it sent only by post and do they expect a reply only by post?
RFE's are case by case dependent. You'll get something in the post highlighting what it is they require from you and you're told timeframe of when they expect a reply.
Hi, do you have to do a medical b4 tye interview or you can do it in the states??
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
