2022-02-02: The interview went great. The officer was very nice and professional. She started with the civics test, which was easy because I used the official app to memorize all 100 answers. She asked me the following questions:
1. Under our Constitution, some powers belong to the states. What is one power of the states?
2. The House of Representatives has how many voting members?
3. What movement tried to end racism?
4. We elect a U.S. Representative for how many years?
5. We elect a President for how many years?
6. What is the name of the President of the United States now?
Then I had to read a sentence displayed on the tablet device in front of me, which was "How many senators do we have?" and then i had to write "We have 100 senators" on the tablet screen using a thick stylus or my finger, neither of which worked well at all. It looked like my worst handwriting ever. Then she asked me lots of easy to answer questions about myself and my wife, then some rapid fire questions that required me to say "no" a bunch times, then some more questions that required me to say "yes" a bunch times.
I had to sign on the tablet screen twice, which was very difficult because it just barely worked, I mean I was literally laughing while attempting to sign and she apologized.
We had a nice chat afterwards while she scheduled my oath ceremony and gave me some instructions.

2022-02-04: There were approximately 50 people in the oath ceremony room today. They were very strict about social distancing, letting us into the room slowly, one by one. About 1/4 of the chairs were numbered, leaving 3 empty chairs between each person. When i entered the room and checked in at the desk, i had to give them my appointment letter, the questionnaire, and my 3 cards (EAD & 2 green cards). Then i took a ceremony packet from the stack, a little flag, and they showed me my certificate so i could check for any errors. Then they told me what my seat number was. I sat down and waited for about 30 minutes while everyone took their seats. Despite being told to put their phones away, so many people continued to use them, even making phone calls and receiving calls with their ringtones at max volume. One of the employees had to repeatedly say "put your phone away", and "no photos or videos allowed." FYI, the entire room is being video recorded. When the ceremony finally started, a woman walked up to the podium, welcomed us and commented on the Covid precautions. Then she had us all stand up, raise our right hands, and repeat after her. The oath of allegiance is in the packet if you'd like to read it as well. She read it out very slowly, just a few words at a time. Then we sat down and a different woman walked up to the podium to explain what was in the ceremony packet and had us all wave our flags. Then the guy who was telling people to put their phones away walked around the room and handed out everyone's certificates. We were told to leave the building immediately after getting our certificate and to check it for errors outside. There was no opportunity for a quick photo inside, and it was raining outside so that wasn't really an option either. I put my certificate inside the ceremony packet and walked straight to my car. I'm now a citizen. Awesome.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
