Harassment Level : 5
Comments : The customs guard looked at all my paper work and asked me to follow him. He apologized for taking me to the interview room but said it was procedure on a K1 entry. I said in the waiting room and waited to be called. I was called and asked why I was here, I answered "I am marrying my fiance" and he stamped by passport and sent me on my way. No drama, just extra waiting!

Embassy Review : I had a great experience at the embassy up until my interview.
My interview was at 12pm and I arrived at 11:15 which they let me straight through!
I waited for 20 mins before being called and was greeted by a lovely lady although I found it hard to hear her through the window. I gave her my documents and then she told me to sit back down.
30 minutes later I was called again and this time was greeted by a not so friendly lady. To tell you the truth she was awful. I was asked how often I spoke to my fiancé when we are apart and I said everyday which was not a lie at all. She raised an eyebrow and responded "everyday really?" And rolled her eyes. All the questions she asked was not related to our relationship as such. Mostly about his parents and what he does for a living. She then questioned why we weren't moving to the UK and when I said because my fiancé is still
In college that wasn't very acceptable to her. At that point I thought I had been denied and just wanted to get out of there. She then told me I was approved and that was it and I think I ran out of there. And then realised I left my passport with her and had no receipt to say that I had. But all was well in the end and I received my passport a week later. Worry over until AOS!
Rating : Moderate

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
