Embassy Review : My interview was at 1:30 pm. I had arrived early at 12:30 but the guard told me to come at 1 pm. So I went at 1 but he told me to come back in 10 -15 minutes (I guess they were having a busy day). I entered the embassy at 1:15 pm.

I went to window 6 and spoke to B. Yes indeed she is a very lovely and helpful person. She asked me if I had all the required documents. I went to pay the visa fee and was told to sit down and wait. It was a very loooooong wait. I waited patiently and seeing 3 people get approved before me helped to reduce my nervousness.

At 3:30 pm I was the only one left and was called to window 3 and asked the following questions which took about 5-10 minutes.

-How and when did you meet?
-Was your religious ceremony registered?
-I had been refused entry into the US He asked me why I was refused entry?
-and there was another confusion in our application, which left me surprised. I cleared that up to the CO. He was very understanding javascript:emoticon('')
-Also turns out that I needed a joint sponsor javascript:emoticon(''). So our case is going to be under AP until my fiance sends the original I-134 from the joint sponsor to the embassy.

Before the interview I had prepared evidence of relationship like out conversations and photos together. The CO did not ask for any of that... which kind of made me feel like it was all a waste but also made me happy because it meant that he had already concluded the we have a real relationship

Thanks to everyone from the US embassy in Auckland i will soon be marrying the love of my life. I hope that the CO reads my review and knows how grateful I am javascript:emoticon('')javascript:emoticon('')

GOD IS GREAT!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
