Comments : Consulate process was quick and hassle less. We got there early and waited outside for almost two hours. The "buscones" will try to tell you that you need pictures and other stuff to take your money, do not listen to them. After we went in they gave us a number, we sat down to wait, after like 30 minutes they called us up to give all the papers we had and asked us to sit back down. We waited for like an hour and a half, then we got called back up and that is when the consul interviewed us. She swore us in and asked each of us like five questions, she was quick and funny, made everything so easy. We went in at 7 am and by 9 am we were out. Great experience, everybody was in a great mood that day, which made it a lot better for us.

Questions she asked: how we met? when did we meet? how long have we been dating? where did we meet? who do I live with? when did I move to the US? what I do here? what are the plans when he comes?

P.S. Be relaxed, do not get nervous because they can tell. Also, bring a book or something to pass the time because waiting sucks.
DO NOT BRING ELECTRONICS!!!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
