The pleasant lady checked my appointment letter and passport and then gave me a plastic bag for watches and mobiles. I was then sent to security where they put my bags through a scanner. I was then directed around the building, up some steps and into a reception area where they asked for my appointment letter and passport again. I was given a number (I-903) and told to take a seat as numbers for immigration visas would not be called until 1. This was at 12.30. At about 1.15 my number came up for cubicle 1. I was greeted by a lovely lady who took my documents and checked my courier details. For some reason my appointment letter had the priority date of 30th May which was 4 months after we sent in our I-129F not our noa2 date as usually worked out from. Because our interview therefore was only a day before this priority date Nate sent me a new letter of intent to marry. I'm very glad he did because she asked if I had one. After finger print scanning I was told to take a seat again and wait to be called for interview. My number came up at about 1.45 but when I got to window 15 there was already someone there. I held back a bit until they finished at 2. Another very nice lady explained that this was my interview and I swore an oath that I was telling the truth. She asked how we met each other, if we had met in person and when this was, what I did for a living and when I intended to fly to America. Finally she asked if Nate had any family near him as his income was close to the required amount. I explained that we were going to get his mom to co-sponsor my AOS and that I had my bank statements with me to support my application. She asked to see them then said that's great, I'm happy to tell you your application has been approved and then she told me dates etc that I had to be in America and married by. I left the embassy at 2.15 and immediately phoned Nate :D I was so glad I was cautious and took the extra documents in regard to the things that were slight worries as both were asked for.
