Harassment Level : 0
Comments : This was second POE for Phil. First time was through Chicago and was much, much more difficult. Chicago held him for over three hours in a room before even explaining what was going on. Atlanta was so easy, just a couple of questions and breezed right through.

Called to check status and found that New Permanent Green Card had been mailed to our OLD address, despite the fact that we submitted the change of address form roughly a year prior. Now applying for replacement green card, fee (hopefully) wavied, wait time estimated at another 3 months.

Event Description

Embassy Review : Interviewing officer was very nice, and tried to put me at ease. We were interviewed seperately. Asked several questions about our relationship and just every day questions that a spouse would know. Some questions I couldn't think of the answers (like the name of his oldest brother). She asked for more recent print outs of bank statements (the ones I submitted with the application were current but she wanted since then. I did not have these.). Also, because of an error In Chicago we canno get a final decision today- they apparently did security checks under the wrong date of birth. She apologized sincerely for this.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
