Comments : The date of entering US was september first, and I entered US first at Dallas and I needed to take connecting flight to CVS. At Dallas, I had to go through long waiting for interview with immigration officer and he basically went through all my papers for K-1. and the officer took the whole package of k-1 visa stuff that I had for entering the US. It was so stressful... but Finally I am in U.S.A ....Phew..

Comments : February 18th 2015 I recieved the potential interview waiver letter from the USCIS which states that getting GC will at least take about 6 more months from the date I received this letter. I see many people with K-1 visa received this letter. Hope it doesn't take more than 6 months or year .... Just needs to be patient.

Update.

On March 20th, we requested expediting green card and the reason we wanted to speed up was because I wanted to go back to graduate school with getting financial aid, but without having green card doesn't let me apply for financial aid. I requested to write a letter from college I wanted to attend, and they helped me getting through this process.

I don't know how long it will take to actually obtain green card for me, but at least I know It will speed up!

_____________________________________

Applying to expediting process of green card by reasoning financial loss due to delay of visa process was unexpectedly approved on March 27th 2015 after only about a week from sending request. We again made a contact to two people. Congress man and senator. They were so helpful for us.

Event Description
Review Date : October 29, 2014
Embassy Review : Interview was actually very short, but waiting until to be called was ....just killing me. I think waiting hour was about close to three hours and they make u to go back and forth for making sure you have everything they ask you to have and verify. They go through every evidence of proof of relationship and ask if they aren't sure of something.

Interviewer was speaking english and if you need someone speaks Korean, there will be a person helps you out.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
