Comments : First I would like to thank everyone here on VJ for all the help you've provided to us.,especially Enigma23,JanetAdonis,ilovemyman you guys did a wonderful job helping me out in any concerns that i had,Thank you and god bless yo all.

Hope our story helps,here goes....
My fiance is from the Capital of DR so we were 15 mins away from the US consulate, but this didnt mean that we can go a little bit later we were so concern on time and on how the line of ppl usually gets up to the gas station accross the street that we wasnt willing to stay too long in the waiting line... lol We woke up by 4:05am and by 4:45am we were ready and on our way to interview ours was schedled for 6:45am DO NOT BE CONCERN FOR THE TIME THEY GIVE usually is just for you to be there. We arrived by 5:03am and there was already about 50 ppl ahead of us and we were given lucky num 49,than the doors opened up by 7am and security started deviding male and females, one of the female security asked if there was any females without purses or bags I was lucky I only had the paperwork in hands so I was actully called to come inside before the rest of the ladys that were ahead of me,pass thru metal detector and came inside building my fiance was inside with me 5 mins after. We took a sit and waited and waited 45 mins later we were than called in to window 8,here we were asked to confirm US address and we deposited DS160,DS156K,BIRTHCERTI.,DivorceCERTI. PUPULAR RECEIPTS,BUENACONDUCTAPOLICIAL,80 VSA FEE REC.
After giving all of the above we were told to go take a sit and wait to be called for finger prints here we waited an eternity ugh I dont even want to remember we waited for almost 3 hrs,Finally they called us to window NUM 14 ,here we passed in the copy of the blue letter I received by mail indicating interview its not necessary I think we passed it because werent on the mood to talk too muche we were saving energy lmao after passing this she than asked for his finger prints Now we knew we passed from process to progress YaYY...the nice lady said that hnow we can go sit to wait for or nmber to be called for interview :D ,We were so anxios to be called we werent nervous at all we just wanted to get approved and leave the building lol.. 5 mins after Num 49 to window 21 we took a deep breath and here we go our interview was no more than 7 mins. The immigration officer greeted us very polite After making promise that everything we will say will be nothing but the truth officer asked my fiance when did we meet, my fiance got sort of nervouse and said by jun, july 2011 it was actully May lol but this was nothing compare to the yr evidence we had from lease to bank accounts and even hodspital paperwork from previous misscarriege I had signed by him being in charge of me...The officer only ask him this question and than asked me the following.
ARE YOU AN AMERICAN CITIZEN?
HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU VISITED HIM,I KNEW THIS WAS A TRICK BECAUSE I had informed them by letter that we stayed living together right away after meeting up in person so actually only visited him once , I didnt fall for it.
HE THAN ASKED ME IF I HAD DOMINICAN FAMILY MEMBERS?,I know the reason why he asked this question because I stayed living in a foreign country ,my answer was yes my parents and brothers are dominican.
ARE THE HERE OR IN US? My family is in US, this was another trick he wanted to see if they were living here that way they would need to investigate more to see if I was living with my fiance or not.
TELL ME YOU STORY? I hgave them the whole story how we met...
He smiled and asked if we brought any more photos we actually brought 2 photo albums one holds 300 photos devided from 2011 up to 2013 my fiance showed him all those, than asked us if they were any recent and if weve been to any other resorts recently and answer was yes we had the other photo album with photos of our last resort in Barcelo Puerto Plata 2014 and offered showing him the album he than said no its not necessary, the officer did some documentation and made my fiance sign and write my name above during the movement of the paperwork I was able to see the famous green card so I knew it was approved I poked hubby with my elbow to get his attention to see it but he was too focused on the officer:D than he said the magic words.. "FELICIDADES SU VISA HA SIDO APROVADA "

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
