Comments : Be sure to apply for your police clearance and UNABRIDGED birth certificate two or 3months in advance. Believe the police clearance is valid for 6months+ And its a nightmare to get a hold of your unabridged birth certificate, on application they tell you 3months process time. But tell them its urgent and follow up as much as possible, I emailed and called various people(in all positions)almost everyday and finally got mine after two weeks. The one lady working at "collections" counter in home affairs George was very rude because it came so quickly. Called me "very lucky" and she seemed to have been ticked of about it. Made me wait 30minutes while helping other people, and a few times just being "busy" while no one was in line. After 30minutes I got the attention of someone else working at one of the desk behind her and kindly asked what im busy waiting for as the txt sent to me said your birth certificate is READY for collection, she walked 5steps to her right, picked up my Unabridged Birth certificate and asked me to sign out that I received the certificate and I was done. Took 1minute max. No matter who is taking care of what ever you need during this visa experience, always follow up yourself, thats the only way we got things happening for us.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
