Event Description

Embassy Review : Ok.....so we get there at 5:30 AM...line was long but not as much as i expected due to our ride that didnt feel the need to be there so early ...buscones werent "in ur face" like i thought but my babe did laugh and say conio pero que animos tiene ese tigere jijiji..so far so good...it was almost 7:30 and i was freakin panicking at this point thinking they were gonna just tell us they were gonna be closed..especially after a guy just fainted while in line and had to be carried out and our cita was for 6:45...finally closer to 8 info peeps were out passing numbers and we get #56 and line was moving pretty fast and then a big fat halt...and come to see that it was cuz these freakin mujeres with their freakin purses and jewlery up the u kno where (Ladies....i cant stress this enough...plz plz plz all u need is makeup on and ur papers and money i promise!!) It was soo bad that the guys didnt have no line at all! So before they seperated us i gave my hubby all our papers thinking he was gonnabe in first waiting a long time till i got in...And then finally one info girl saw chicks like me that knew better and told us to go to the front of the line with the guys...i got in fast and first...and 10 minutes later we were called to pay fees and hoping the lady wasnt going to ask for my divorce decree cuz surprise surprise...i forgot it and sure enough she did and she rudely said well we need it but take it up with the CO at that time...then it seemed like forever before fingerprints...couples and familes getting approved left and right i was the one super nervous and my hubby was calm...then our turn after freakin 2 hours...as soon as we passed those double doors complete reverse i was the one calm and my hubby super nervous...we were sworn in by a stern but nice american black lady and then...first question to ramon.."since when did she get divorced?" Since August 2013...i started lookin at him wtf!!!! Her too...next question..."how did u guys meet" thru tagged.com..."wat is that...." at this point my babe was so paralyzed wirh nerves that he was saying anything but the answers and she told him to sit down...and then she told me flat out "you do kno this isnt going well rite?" Yes mam..."can you please give me a reason why its not?" Im sorry he got super nervous..."i need you to tell me the the truth as to why its not going well...im sorry i dont kno wat to tell you other than he was just super nervous. "Ok you can go sit down now" man i was so mad frusterated and emotional i had to cry in the restroom...and wat seemed like hours we were called to window 13...fraud unit...guy with thick dominican accent interviews hubby first...then me...i was so tired and resignada at this point that i was failing questions about MY life and honestly the only thing i think that saved me was the fact that i brought my daughter....he goes ok..go outside so they can talk to u...by this time waiting room was emptying out and numbers werent being called fast anymore...4:23... we were called to window 21..same lady...and we saw them...the green tickets!! But the only reason why i didnt let myself get excited was because the lady was looking at us all confused and thought it was a mistake we were there again....and she asked ramon.."is this the same novia as this motning? And he goes yes and she was still confused..see my hair was down earlier and i had put it up...so i asked her kinda laughing and crying at the same time if u want me to put it back down i can and she laughs and tells me its not necessary and then asks ramon..."so wat happned to u this morning?" Im sorry it was nerves. "Ok. Well heres the reciept as proof of your payment go take this down (while at the same time ripping the green ticket) to pay for the envio....omg omg omg..so i to make sure i wasnt dreaming....i asked her....sooo does this mean were approved? and with a yes estupidita!! Look on her face she goes yes....we freaking threw our arms together and started yelling and crying and ran outhe double doors and we embraced each other again and we kept kissing and drying our tears paid domex and ran out so excited that i kinda slammed the door open and a cop yelled at me jijiji...all in all it was a horrible day but was just glad that it was all over and we were approved...omg me and hubby celebrated big time that nite
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
