Nope they recieved our forms on July 24th 2014 I got approved for my green card June 30th 2015. Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : December 4, 2013
Embassy Review : So me and my mum went to London (From Norwich) the day before my interview on the 2nd of December 2013. We stayed at a really lovely hotel called Park Lane Mews Hotel which is just a 10minute walk to/from the US Embassy and Is right behind the Hilton hotel (which is the tallest building in the area) meaning its incedibly easy to find. They also gave us directions to the Ebassy and both the night staff and morning staff said good luck and congratulated me

My Interview time was for 8:30am and we left the hotel at 7:30am and arrived at around 7:42am. There was pretty much no line, no more than 30 people where waiting outside. I got In line and gave my interview letter to a woman at an outside desk and she glanced at it and told me to wait in the right line which I did, there are two small buildings outside, which are for the security I went into the right one, (they let 4 people in at a time)I then followed the signs around the side of the building chatted to a very funny security gaurd (which calmed my nerves slightly!!) as I walked In and I went Into what I wanna call reception. There was two ladies who asked me for my DS-160 which then totally confused me as they just needed my Interview letter, she then but a long sticker on the letter with my number I 910. She told me to go into the room on the left and wait for my number to be called. It was a pretty big rectangle room, with food and drinks at the front, windows 1 to 11 on the right and a few big screens with some tv programs on and the numbers being shown up. I got there at 7:52am. Numbers didn't actually started being called/shown ont he screen until around 8:00am. I sat at the very back and just waited I hadn't actually brung anything with me but I am rather glad I didn't as when the "I" numbers where actually called up, once In a while one of those number wouldn't actually stay up on the board.

After just less than an hour after numbers I901 - 1909 were called My number popped up and I had to go to window 13, which Is right round the corner past a photo Booth and the bathrooms. I was met by an older guy from somewhere In Europe and he asked for my passport and interview letter. He then left to go and get my case file wich was in a bright pink folder and was about 3inches thick! lol Oh and just for extra info I brought with my 2 full folders of stuff for this interview and I only ever gave them less than 10 forms. He then asked for my finger prints, first 4 fingers on each hand (right first) then both thumbs (I was so short It was super hard to do my thumbs lol) Birth Certificate with a copy, my police certificate with a copy and x 2 US sized passport photos and my recipt and instructions from my $240 payment online. He then sorted those out and asked for my fiance's Affadavit of Support form with any Tax documents, I gave him W-S's and some other Tax forms, he also saw I had my fiance's letter from his employer and asked for that too (I had a tone more but didn't bother mentioning it) He then tore of most of the stickers off of my interview letter and underlined my number again which was at the end of a longer line of number's and said to again wait for my number to be called at either window 15 or 16 (Window 1 was also taking "I" numbers for some reason).

Just again for extra info when I first came In less than half of the room was full and by the time I came back from my first call up The entire room was overflowing, there wasn't enough seats it was also so cold in there everyone was till wearing there coats. I sat back down at the back for around an Hour and a half. In that time they got up to number I918 and N202 there was a huge amount of other visa's. N visa's were the quickest and the others being called were L, C and E'S which were just as slow as mine.

My number was called again at around 10:30am (I didn't have my watch on & there was no clock) I was called to window 15 which wasn't In a booth which surprised me either way as it an interview. I was met by an American man in his 30's he asked me for my passport, interview letter. He then got out my case file with the damn pink folder lol and asked me to take an oath, and do another 4 finger prints/scan on my right hand only, and sign the DS form that you leave blank at the bottom for the interiviewer and write my fiance's name on it. He then asked me to tell me abit about my relationship, how we met and how many times he didn't right away ask any specific questions. I started with how we met (on an online game through a friend) He asked which game (assasins creed) He then asked which one (Brotherhood lol) It went on like they with him asking questions in the middle for around 15 minutes. He also back tracked and asked questions about things I had already told him I guess to check if i was lying. I talked about a lot how many times we met, where, when, our familys, our experiences, what we did on our trips together, when was the wedding, when i was planning on leaving and way more. He even asked me what my "Father" thought about the relationship which weirded me out, and about Finational situation like have we talked about how he's supporting me and I said yes and explained and told him we had saving for the wedding, he asked how much etc etc. He then sorry but he's got to ask some personal questions, he asked, Have I ever been arrested, been Married, or have children and the same for my fiance. All the time he was going through each and every form in our case file. Eventually he stopped and started typeing on his computer for a couple of minutes signed the DS form which asks you not to fill out the bottom until the interview, and said that I was approved, YAY!! :D lol He then gave me a leaflet with info on what to do after the wedding/marriage AOS wise. He then said that a brown packet and my passport would be delivered to the place the online intructions told me, in 10days. and Not to OPEN the brown packet because its for Imagration. I was never asked for any proof of relationship. That was about It I was finished by 11:45am then walked back to the hotel =) Then spent the rest of the day at convert gardens and got the 2:30pm train back to Norwich

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
