Comments : Got my initial k1 denied at interview because of cimt's committed 27 years ago,I filled for. I601 waiver and this was approved on the 3/6/2014' had to take second medical as this had run out,but finally found out on the 23/6/14 my visa is being issued and being sent by Friday 27/6/14... What a journey this has been... If you have been denied because of cimt and it is over 15 years ago and it was not a serious offence then file for a i601 waiver but make sure you hire I good U.S attorney who specialises in waivers... Good luck

Event Description
Review Date : June 23, 2014
Embassy Review : Arrived at 7:30 am was in by 8:05 seen by 8:30 then had to wait for an hour before the interview, now I had several cimt from 1988 and I knew it was 50/50 if I would be issued my k1 but at the interview the lady said I was denied because it was more than 1 offence,oh and by the way my fiancée was with me at the interview, any way it was very pleasant in the embassy and the staff were really friendly,so even though I was denied it was not the horror sorties you some times read on here in fact far from it.. Any way I filled my i601 waiver on February 4th2014 and it was approved June 3rd.. It did cost quite a bit as I hired a good us attorney called Allan lolly..no laughing anyway they did a fantastic job in telling me what I had do which did include a full forensic physcological review which cost £800 for four hours but that in its self was worth every penny, other info you have to get is reference letters from long term friends, work colleagues etc,it's also good to note that I have been employed with the same company for 22 years which I'm sure played a key factor in it,any way I'm approved and USA here I come...good luck everyone
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
