Comments : We stayed at Jardines del Teatro the night before. It was a 5 minute walk to the Embassy. Appointment was at 8:45 am. Arrived at the Embassy at 7:30 am.

After about an hour wait we got called up to give his police certificate and got his fingerprints. Then we sat down and waited until about 2:20 to be called up for our interview!

The lady asked my husband his questions in Spanish:
1. How did you meet your wife?
2. Where does she work and what is her position?
3. Does she like her job?
4. What does her family think of your relationship?
5. Was she married before?
6. How old was she when she got married?
7. Why did they divorce?

Then she asked me my questions in English:

Same ones she asked him to see if I would answer correctly (and I did) as well as:

1. What are his parent's names?
2. How many children does his mom have?
3. Where does he fall in those kids, youngest, middle or oldest?

That was it, VISA APROVADA, didn't have to show any pictures or any other evidence. :)

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
