Embassy Review : Here is my review....We got up at 6am we stayed at the marriott accross the street from the embassy. Before we left we said a prayer. Got there at 645am and went to line 4 we got lucky number 160 men and women were seperated to go into the building but I don´t know how this helps they had a mess during the security process the security guard saw cell phones in purses and she would check the wrong purses by the time she realized which one it was the person was already inside. Finally we were in the famous metal benches now they have cushion at least. at around 930 we were called to window number 25 to give his passport cedula banco popular receipt and police certificate. I had not paid the visa fee of 230 so she sent me to window 12 to pay the cc machine was not working and they have no atm in the building so I had to get a pass to go out and come back with the money that was 30 minutes wasted.once you are inside you can not leave the building unless they give you a pass. I paid the fee and gave the lady the receipt but this time in window 15. at 1030 they called him to window 13 for fingerprints. we sat back down I could not eat so i just was focussing on the couples before us. most of them were getting approved it seems the women that interview are very suspicious of everyone there because the men were not separating the couples the women were and there were three couples before us that were sent to window 11 the investigation and fraud room. at that point I was nervous my husband was telling me to relax and the visa was for him. finally at about 11 they called us to window 19 I couldn´t see who it was from outside so we just went in...a woman here we go I said... she smiled and greeted us very cheerful ok good start I guess she had all the pictures I sent to uscis she swore us in and started looking at the pictures and asking who the people were in them then the questions began....

1- where and when did you meet-he answered
2-when and where did you get married-he answered her response that was a fast relationship we got married 4 months after meetting each other
she told my husband to step outside that she would like to speak to me alone.
before she started asking me questions I noticed a sticky note saying that my income was not enough and visa would not be approved before she started the questions I asked her about the AOS and asked her to recalculate because I did have enough income she did and apologized for the mistake and took the note off and signed the AOS. Now the questions...
1-What are my parents name
2-what are his parents name
3-do I have brothers how many and names
4-does he have brothers or sisters how many and names
5-what is my childs name age and date of birth
6-when was the first time we had sexual relations and where
7-when was the most recent time we had sexual relations where
8-when I come visit him where do I stay
9-do we have a room in his moms´s house
10-is there a TV there
11-what did we have for dinner last night
12-did we watch tv and what did we watch
13-Do I know his mom personally (she saw me in pics with her earlier really)
14-does my husband drink coffee
15-do I drink coffee and how I like it
after this she called my husband and asked me to step out. it took him like three minutes to answer everything and I got called back in she said that because my case was expedited his medical was not delivered and he would have to pick it up on the 20 and bring it to them but that we can pay Domex we looked at each other and then at her and she said yes your Visa is approved we gave each other a hug and a kiss she gave me back all 500 pictures and the green slip that was no where to be seen during the whole process she took it out from a drawer and we paid domex and left. She was very nice especially when I corrected the AOS and she said that is what she is there for to help me and that they too make mistakes. now we have to wait about another two weeks and hopefully by the begining of september he will be at home woo hoo
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
