Comments : We got our NOA1 letter on 2006-01-31 and our biometrics appointment letter on 2006-02-06. We received an RFE letter dated 2006-02-17 on 2006-02-24. We forgot to enclose proof of the US citizenship of our joint sponsor in the package. On 2006-02-27 we mailed off the RFE response and are back on track again. On 2006-03-03 USCIS notified us that they had received our RFE and that the estimated processing time for our case was 120-180 days, which would most likely be shortened by the fact that they had already done preliminary processing before the RFE. Transferred to CSC on 2006-04-10. EAD approved on 2006-04-13! Touched a bunch on 4/28, 5/1, 5/2, 5/5, and then green card approval on 5/12/06!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
