Embassy Review : As suggested, we arrived early for our interview. There were still about 50 or 60 people in front of us. The consulate started processing the line right at 6:45. We had no problem getting into the building. Security is just a simple metal detector. I did see someone rejected for having a cell phone, so just don’t bring anything on the ‘cannot bring list’ and you shouldn't have any issues. After getting inside, we set for a short time and then were called to window 18. They went through our paper work and found that we had not filled out form 156. They gave us a temp pass to go fill it out and warned us about the people outside that do not work for the consulate. We were staying at the Marriott, so we just went back there and filled out the form, printed it and went back to the consulate. No problems, the temp pass got use right back into the building. We went right back to window 18, finished there and went to window 14 to pay the additional 80 dollars, back to window 18 to drop off the receipt and the medical forms. A short while later we were called to window 21 for our interview. Guess she didn't like all our answers as she said we needed to go sit down and we would be called again. When called, we had to go to window 13. They spoke first to M, and then had me come in. They asked some general questions that if you are truly together as a couple, you should not have any problems answering. This was quick and painless. At the end, I asked if we ‘passed’ and he said that all questions were answered correctly, but it would be up to the officer at window 21. So we went back to sit down again. Again, in a short time, we were called to window 21, told that everything was good and we were approved. All we needed to do was to pay DomEx to bring the visa. The times waiting between being called was so short that I could not get through the line to buy a cup of coffee. Total time for us was about 4 hours, we were out of there by about 9:30 or 10:00.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
