Consulate Review: London, United Kingdom Review Topic: K1 Visa Event Description Review Date : September 21, 2011 Embassy Review : arrived at the embassy after finding goulds pharmacy at around 9.30. passed through security and was given my number, I923. sat down and began going over all my documents etc and so began the wait. N numbers are called every 20 seconds or so, I numbers are very rare. after about an hour i was called to window 1 where i was greeted by no one. after looking around confused (id been up since 4am, i imagine i looked a state) a small asian lady took my mrv receipt and police cert, my copies of details and gave me the pink form to fill out for the courier. took a seat and another hour passed. was eventually called to window 15 where a very friendly american lady was waiting. i was asked to raise my right hand a swear an oath. after commenting on how big our original evidence packet was (we went over board but it paid off haha) she asked me these questions. Tell me about your relationship now what does your fiancee do? what made us decide to live in the states and why now? answered these relatively easily and after some computer error (they seemed to be looking for something and couldnt find it) she smiled and said "ok, i am going to approve your visa". exhausted but very excited the only thing i could think of to say was "kiss my face!" (i was watching alan partridge on my phone on the journey down) haha. took my pink form to the courier, paid for midday delivery and left the embassy for a beer and a phone call to a very excited lady in Florida. POE Review: JFK Event Description Entry Date : 2011-09-29 Embassy Review : Landed at jfk and got in the line for visitors. After an hour I was called to the window. The lady asked.for my sealed envelope. After a few.minutes she took me to a room and asked me to wait. She handed me back my packet and sent me to area 2. A woman took my packet and told me to take a seat. After a few minutes I was given the i94 and that was it. No questions and they didnt ask for my x rays. Very easy process. Harassment Level : Low
