Congratulations on the EAD approval! Can I ask why your local CIS office comes as Chicago National office? Is your filing center also NBC?
JonathanDowning on 2020-09-11 said:
Yeah sure, the form says "CIS office EAD filed at (Likely Chicago National Office)" so I chose Chicago. My local office is San Francisco though.

Ah yeah its confusing. My EAD is at NBC but my local CIS is Boston. Thank you for responding and congratulations again!

My case number begins with MSC so I presume that's the National Benefits Center? To be honest this confuses me a bit, but the estimate date was spot on today, so something must be right!

Yes that's NBC! My estimate changes everyday and has been doing that since I joined. The weekly estimate says my case is past due so I hope to see the status update soon!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
