If you have a valid Canadian work visa then you can have your K1 interview completed in Vancouver or Montreal. Vancouver Consulate interview was very smooth and easy. Mostly waiting around, total time spent with officers was probably 15 minutes within the span of 2 hours. The border crossing was also very smooth and easy. I think immigration officers for the most part enjoy dealing with K1 applicants. Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-129f was approved in 127 days from your NOA1 date. Your interview took 193 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

Lasted about 20 minutes. Mostly just chatting about our relationship and lives, so it felt like a discussion rather than an interview. Flipped through my paperwork but didn't ask for anything in particular. By the end of the interview she turned around and said we were approved and before we even got back to the car park i received the email saying the green card was being put into production.
