The interview took about 30 minutes, during which time the officer said that if I tried to live in the US illegally without going through with the marriage, he would 'hunt me down and kill' me! All in good humour but still.... He asked lots of questions including why I was leaving it so long between entering the US and getting married. I also asked if I could get a work permit - he said I couldn't.
