Upon arriving at Border Control, I was called to the desk and was asked about the purpose of my travel. I told the officer I arrived on a K1 visa to marry my American fiancé. He asked a few basic questions, such as how the two of us met and how many times I had visited before. Following this, I was told to go to a waiting room from where I would be taken to a separate office to talk to another officer. I sat in a chair and had to wait about 15-20 minutes for the officer to go through the documents in my NVC K1 envelope. He also only asked a few very basic questions before letting me know that I am all set and ready to go. He told me that this visa is for only one one-time entry and asked me when we are planning to get married.
