This was a very quick and simple process! I told the customs officer that I was entering the US on a K1 visa, and he took my visa packet and brought me to a separate room. I waited for probably less than 10 minutes before another officer called me over to a desk. The only question that he asked me while processing me into the system was when the wedding was planned for, and he also congratulated me.
I checked my I-94 the following day and it had already been updated, showing that I had entered on a K1 visa.
