I came from Amsterdam to JFK with WOW air (never book that airline, worst airline ever!!!!).
We landed around 11pm at JFK, by the time I got in line for customs it was around 11.30pm. It was quiet packed. It was my first time in JFK. So I wasnt sure if this was considered packed or normal. I was in line for the "NON-Citizen" line. Since the other side was shorter we got directed to the other side of the terminal. While I was waiting I asked a lady who worked there if it was the right lane, and showed her my packet. She directed me back to the line I came from. She told me to cut the line and i was third in line. I waited almost 15 minutes.
When it was finally my turn, I gave him my packet, passport and the form I filled out on the plane. He asked me:
-How long have you been together,
-Do you know anyone in the US,
-Where I was born.
While he was asking me these questions he opened the packet, stamped it.
He then told me to put my right hand on the scanner for the fingerprints, I had to look into the camera for a picture.
When I was done, he told I had to go to Immigration. I asked him where that was, he said no worries, someone will pick you up.
He was a nice guy, all of this took less than 5 minutes!
He pushed a button and the red light turned on, a lady came and walked me to the Immigration office, she gave the guy sitting behind this huge high desk, my packet and passport. She told me to take a seat, since I was texting my fiance she told me no cellphones were aloud there.
It took less than 10 min when the guy called my name and said, "You have 90 days to get married, Congrats!
I checked which carrousel my lugguage was coming in, I waited almost another 10-15 minutes for my lugguage.

I am very happy everything went very smooth and easy! And very fast!
