overall a fairly easy process. I joined the american citizens/ permanent residents/ visa holders queue after being advised by one the helpers. This was the wrong queue as the immigration official told me - but luckily I did not have to wait again in the international queue. He opened my envelope and asked me when we were going to married. Did the usual finger prints and eye scan and the immigration official completed some paper work.
All in all it was about five - ten minutes, no different than the usual questions when I have entered the states. Good experience overall!
