When we arrived in Orlando about 2pm, my fiancee went through the US citizen's line with me. We didn't have to wait too long, maybe 10 minutes. When we arrived to the immigration officer, I handed him my passport and custom's form and told him that my fiancee is here on a K-1 visa. I handed him her passport and custom's form and the big yellow envelope for her POE. He processed me first, which is always very quick, then he started to process her. He asked me how I met her, and I said on my first trip to Colombia nearly a year ago. He smiled and then he took fingerprints from just the 4 fingers on her right hand, and also took a photo of her. Then without opening the yellow envelope, he grabbed it along with her passport and told us to follow him to a waiting room. He told us to have a seat and that someone would call us back.

We waited about 30 minutes, and then finally they called her name. When we got to the little office, he asked her in Spanish, where and when did we meet. After she answered him, he told us that we have 90 days to get married. I told him we already have a wedding date set, and he said that was great. Then he mentioned that after the marriage we have to file the adjustment of status or else she would be deported. I told him I already researched the adjustment of status and we are already prepared to file shortly after marriage. He smiled and then stamped her passport, put the I-94 back in, and handed it back to us. He said Welcome to the United States and good luck on your upcoming wedding. And that was it! Super easy!
