Hi,
My fiancee and I arrived in DC from London at 3pm... we waited in the US passport holder line together and went to the officer together... he took my info first and then told me that he was going to ask her a few questions directly and for me not to answer them. I did exactly that and everything went super smoothly. He was even understanding when she misunderstood some of his questions and answered improperly... Really was no big deal at all!
