I was a little nervous about the POE experience but there was no need at all.
When i visited last July, the queues through immigration were insane. I was queuing for nearly 2 hours. When i went through this time there was no queue whatsoever other than the passengers from my flight. Perhaps the time of flight/day/month makes a difference, i'm not sure. (or perhaps because last time it was July 4th)
Anyway, when i got to the immigration officer he took my passport, customs declaration and I-94. After checking passport he took the sealed visa envelope from me. All he did was flick through the pages. He wasn't looking for anything, he seemed to be just looking for the sake of it.
After telling me i need to marry within 90 days or be deported he took my fingerprints and photograph and that was it.
There was no second interview or further processing like i had read from other reviews. I went on my merry way.
On a slightly unrelated note.. to anyone with a connecting flight through London Heathrow, PLEASE make sure that you go to a baggage assistant before boarding in Heathrow. Even though we were told that our bags would go straight through, ten of us that had connecting flights had our bags not loaded on the flight and they had to be sent on the next available flight. Kind of a bad ending to an otherwise fantastic day =(
