started lucky by finding and empty at general inspection, was in US line because son is US. Inspector nearly missed fact that visa was not yet activated. I handed brown envelop that he put in a red folder telling me to go to secondary inspection and told me welcome. First and secondary inspection are prior to luggage collection so you need all in your carry ons! Had pictures, noa originals, x ray and vaccination log ready. Also change of address notification. Secondary inspection was not too crowded, about 5 people waiting. Son already asleep in stroller. Handed red enveloppe to office told me to wait to be called. was called less than 10 minutes later asked very little just to do fingerprints, sign here, give 2 pictures and confirm address for green card. my visa was stamped with a year validity in my passport. bye bye. no welcome here. total time 15-20 minutes.
