The POE interview was rather uneventful as everything she had was in order.
When she asked for the temporary EAD there was a flat refusal because they
told her that the government expected her husband to support her. Yes he does
and he will, whether she gets a job or not, but it just seemed a little
strange given the way she was refused. Maybe it had something to do with
her age (she is a lot older than most K-1 fiancées and perhaps they thought
that at that age her working days should be over). She has worked steadily
for more than 25 years so having a job is to her very natural.
