Entered through Vancouver Airport (YVR).

Got boarding passes and proceeded up to the immigration desk. Told the clerk my fiancee was immigrating, clerk asked for the package. She got fingerprinted and a photo taken at the desk. Clerk instructed us to go through the double doors behind her and wait. We went inside, 1 immigration officer was in the area he was helping someone else so we took a seat.

He called our name about 10 minutes later. Asked for the packet from the consulate. He opened the packet while she filled out the I-94. He flipped through the packet, asked us about the photos, I think more of a curiousity item. He then asked 1 question, has she ever been arrested or been with friends when they were arrested, etc... Answered NO.

He then asked us to sit back down and would be back in a few minutes. He went into the other office dropped off the packet of information. He called us back up to the desk. Stamped the I-94, gave her back the small copy for her passport, and said congratulations. We then went over to the customs area. Waited for the guard to come over.

He asked us where we are going?
if we had any food or meat. Said no ~ although we had our lunches with us. :D

He didn't scan or search the bags. Thankfully. Let us through no problems.
