we arrived at ORD, we went together to the new arrivals line but it was not very crowded and they ushered us to a citizens line. we entered, got our passports stamped, and we were escorted to the Immigration office, I think some people are interviewed in this office, there were several people, more than 10, waiting here. Yizhen handed over her envelope, and I told them that she was living here for 1.5 years on a K-3 and that we returned to China for the IR-1 while on a visit with the family. He marked the envelope and told us to get our luggage, and proceed to the immigration desk. there were 2 people in front of us, so we had a short wait. They took her finger prints and told us to take the baggage to the Customs desk and welcomed Yizhen to the US, again. It was basically a formality, our bags went through another x-ray and we were done. Mike & Yizhen
