Failry easy. I was the first traveller through customs, so the first officer wasn't on the ball with how the k-1 worked. He was puzzled why I didn't know what was in the in my sealed USCIS envelope. It took some time b4 he figured it out. After the first 'inspection', I was led through to another waiting room. Was then called inside to fill out I-94 card (didn't have to pay the $6 fee, and didn't question it). THe officer told me the K-1 stands for keeps, meaning that I keep the whole visa package. I questioned it, in a subtle manner bc CBP officers are never wrong, and he finally consulted his supervisor who corrected him. I was first in the waiting room. It took 20 minutes, probably 10 if there were no confusions over the process. Once I left the waiting room was full. I recommend going early as possible.

I asked about receiving an EAD stamp. He stated that I need to go to the social security office for that. He sounded annoyed that I asked, so I didn' further explain what I specifically wanted.

BUT WHO CARES ABOTU THIS, MY K-1 PROCESS IS DONE! AOS, here we come!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL FUTURE VAN POE K-1 VISERS! :P
