Jeez the line at JFK is long ... and the air conditioning was broken. And that was as hard as it gets really. I was in Line 3 after 40 mins queuing. But as luck would have it the immigration officer had a O'Name (don't want to say it in case) ... an Irishman in NYC shocker ... and we chatted (yes, chatted) for a bit about the weather and the flight over and then I was sent into the 2 mins of additional processing before getting the EAD on my white slip.
Piece of cake. The long line was the only draw back but hey, it's JFK.
