Once in the immigration hall, (Terminal 2, LAX) you're allowed to go in the US Citizen or Residents LINE! Went fairly quickly, but they seemed to have an issue with the fact i used to be a student with an F-1 visa, and didn't complete college. Why that should matter AT ALL, i dont know, seeing as i had a CR-1 VISA with me which allows me entry no matter what happened in my past! Besides them being fairly grumpy aswell, it went OK, not great, but just OK. No "Welcome to America" or anything like that, just "...make sure your wife petitions for you to remove conditions in 2 years from now..." in a very grumpy way. So nice to see them treating new and LEGAL immigrants this way! Whatever, i'm in California with my wife, and i'm finally happy after 7 months of misery!! Also, don't worry if they take you through to the 2nd Inspection room. This is just where they complete the processing of your entry to the U.S.! (unless you have done something horribly wrong of course). Seems like only yesterday my wife submitted the application for my visa, and now i'm here!! Felt like a decade while waiting though.
