Hi,
I was warned that the first entry on a K1 visa was going to be very tricky so I anticipated a wait. I was one of the first off the plane which probably helped and only had to wait a couple of minutes to be called upto the imigration window. He imediatley saw my k1 visa and asked for brown envelope (unopened). He then led me through to the secondary screening where i got confortable with the laptop and figured i would be there some time. In less than 10 mins I was called up to the window and told I was not allowed to work on this visa and to have a nice day. I actually managed to get an earlier flight onto Albuquerque. Was very easy nothing to worry about! No comes the fun adjusting my status!
