Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

My husbands interview was today at 7am. He arrived to the embassy around 6am. They had everyone line up at 6:15am in order to enter. He was finished with his interview by 9am. He said he was the first to be interviewed in the immigrant visa section and that he was asked normal questions. How we met, When I came to visit, how many siblings I have, where certain pictures were taken, who were in the pictures (these were pictures I mailed with the I-130, she never asked for our albums) etc... He also said they did not request to see hardly any of the documents we had prepared, just our phone records and emails. The lady who interviewed him was very nice, young and seemed rather shy. She laughed a lot with him and had a tendency to roll her eyes at him in a friendly manner(example: when he told her that we traveled to Delta State to visit family the first time I visited him.) He will be able to travel in a weeks time!

A process we started in July last year, is nearly complete! I can't wait for him to be here!!
