So our appointment was at 9:15 June 8, 2012. We were called in at about 9:19 and the officer brought us into his little cubicle office. He swore us in and then proceeded to ask a few questions. He was very friendly and seemed nice. We were both together through the whole interview.
He asked me what my husbands full name was.
He asked if I had met my husbands parents and then asked me what their names were. Where they lived and if they were still married.
He asked where my husband was born.
He then asked my husband where I was from and if he had ever been there.
He asked my husband how we met and when.
What date we first met in person.
He asked where we stayed the first time I came to visit my husband.
How many times we met in person and who went where for visits.
He asked when we got engaged and where.
He asked about our wedding photos. Who people were in the photos.
He asked when we had opened one of our bank accounts.
He asked what kind of car we drove, what colour it was and who drove it.
He asked where my husband was employed and what he did, he asked this twice and told my husband he could make a lot more money working for another company.
He asked if we planned to have children.
He asked me what I did back home and said I would not have any trouble finding work.
He asked if we leased or owned.
He was very jocular, friendly and was asking about Canada a lot, nothing related to us though.. He didn't ask anything tricky and said that as soon as he saw us together he knew we were legit but needed to go through the steps. He told us to have babies(because they are good proof of a relationship lol) and how to make sure the next part of the process went smoothly and how to avoid an interview. He talked about our file and said the one side was good evidence and the other was issues and then showed us that our issues side was basically empty. Some of the questions above almost seemed like he was just curious because and he followed up with advice on things.
