Pretty easy, as per most of the London embassy reviews. Arrived early - 7am, queued up for 30 minutes and was the 2nd Immigrant in the line. Took my ticket, sat down opposite the tv's to watch the numbers being called. Within 15 minutes was called to window 13 - where a woman checked my paperwork was in order. She confirmed all documents were present and correct. The lady asked how old my passport were and requested more (not sure why as they were only a month old) - luckily however I had a fresh set with me (note I had taken copies of every form and every civil document just in case).
She then gave me a pink slip to fill out for the delivery company and was told to go sit back down and wait to be called up again.
Seemingly hours passed (reality 25 minutes !) and I was called up again, this time to window 15 where a bearded chap greeted me. He asked me a couple of questions ...
1. Where I met my wife
2. When we married
3. How come we had met and married in a short amount of time
4. Why we want to settle in the US
5. What my wife did for a job
He then asked me swear under oath that all was true and then uttered the magic words...
"I have no problem in approving this visa".
He explained the process of delivery and sent me on my way. Job done. In and out in under 90 minutes.
