We Stayed at the "Apartahotel Drake" Ave Bolivar, between Tiradentes & GOmez..we live in the capital, but opt to stay at the hotel to be closer to the embassy which is 3 minutes by car...Our Interview was for 6:45am

We got to the embassy at 5:30 AM the line was pretty decent...got out the car and this lady open my door and told me (in spanish) "mami come with me, let me review your papers, and form the line across the street" I laugh and told her it was ok, we were set, she didn't take no for an answer and was grabing me...I told her to back the F up..lol.then she told my husband (what an angry woman I was..he laugh..because I told him before we got there that this might happened)anyways I knew she was a "buscona"

We got in line, ask the police officer (which he has no idea about anything) at around 6:05am the line started to move, I saw people with neon vest with the embassy name and id's..they starting to put numbers to the letters, ours was 160.
they separated the men from the woman for check up, just like the airport, I did not bring a purse just my wallet and a shopping bag full of evidence, pictures, papers, everything, we were the only ones..

We got in and saw the famous iron benches, the place was very bright and with a lot of fans.

Around 9;30am they called my husband by name to window 23, she asked for his passport, police certificate, medical envelope and asked us if we have any kids together, we said no..then she said to go to window 13 for his fingerprints.

we then sat down..went to the little cafeteria they have inside, which they opened around 8ish..we talked watched everyone that was going to the windows, every couple that went before us,was been separate for like 10 minutes..first the woman then they called the men, and viceversa..no one paid domex...only one couple ...we were getting nervous, but I said it is in God's Hand.

By 12:20 our number was called to go to window 19, we kissed and entered the glass door, I said "buenas tardes" to the CO he didn't say anything I said it againg and then he looked up and said "hola"..he sworn us in, then told my husband to sign the DS-230 (which hubby signed in the wrong line,,he was nervous as hell..lol) he then asked me:

1-does your husband has kids? I answered
2-how manny? I answered
3-what are the names? i answered

did not ask anything to my husband

he left againg and was going thru our files, I saw the domex green slip, and I told him..we got this negro..
He then gave us a green paper and said your case is under AP..to wait for them to get in contact with him.. I was like WHAT?? WHY???..he said I can't tell you anything you have to wait..I said THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE I NEED TO KNOW NOW..he said "sorry you need to leave now and we get in contact with you"
we left without an answer and walking like zumbies...we were out of the embassy by 12:40pm..

on Dec 28th we called the embassy andthey said the case was on AP, the visa was not denied but the case was been investigated, to call back in 3 months..we were really in shocked...we decided to just enjoy our holidays together...

I came back on Jan 6th..sad to leave my hubby again, but confident that it will be the last time..
On Jan 11th I called VS and they told me the case was still on AP..
on Jan 13 I called VS again and they told me they have send a letter on Jan 3..(really? I was still in DR) then I called the embassy and they told me yes they did send a letter to wait till Jan 24th if he did't received it by then..
On Jan 17th hubby received the letter, it said to bring his passport any business day at 7:am to windows 26/27, to bring the money for domex and any additional documents we were missing (which we didnt)
Hubby went on the 19th, they took his passport, the letter when we were placed on AP and the money to window 26 (outside the embassy) he was instructed to go inside an pay domex the CO told her good luck in the US ..
on Jan 19th visa was issued and on the 21 and hubby went to pick it up on Monday Jan 23..YEAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!

OVERALL very happy cause it was a good interview..only those questions to me...the whole interview lasted 3 minutes...
the only agravation was the waiting..
