I am posting this for my fiance Zaeem. He got to the Consulate about an hour and half early, yet he still had to wait 2 hours to be called to the window and he was first in line. So, be ready to wait when you get there. His interview took a total of about an hour, which is unusually long for interviews. Our case however, was a little different than the normal cases going through the Korean Consulate. The main questions asked were about my finances, they wanted to make sure he knew everything about my finances. They asked him when we had our first argument. They asked him about our communication skills and to give an example of them. They asked him many many different things about me, luckily he knew all the answers. I had some surgery done years ago and they asked him something that led to him having to explain what kind of surgery I had and why. I have a son, they asked question about him. So, he was thoroughly interviewed. Zaeem said the CO was polite the whole time, she was never rude or mean. They did not look at one piece of evidence we had. Nothing. They just took what was on the checklist and that was it. They did focus a great deal on his degrees and diplomas from college, that was the last thing that they discussed with him before they said to him "Congratulations on getting your VISA" and Swore him in.
