The few days before were a bit of race since I got my interview letter on 10/6. But I managed to get the physical (Dr Slattery) done the day before and I was all set for the interview.
I made it into the consulate at 12:45. I picked my ticket (hard to figure out how many people are in front of you since there are different list depending on the type of visa).
First a lady called me up to pick up my interview letter.
I had to wait around 30-40 minutes and started to stress a little when I saw the amount of documentation some other applicant brought (like a bag full of papers). Finally the lady calls me up again to check and collect all my documents, quickly explains me the process. She then tells me a consulate officer will interview me next.
After a few more minutes I'm called up to another counter where another lady first has me raise my right hand and swear all the information I provide are true. Then she asks me basic questions: When and how did we meet, did I meet her family, did she meet mine, when did I move back to France, have we seen each other since then, when do we intend to get married, do I have a job already in the US.
The then said she approves the visa and will issue the next day :D According to her I will get it in 10 days.
