We came out at 6am and waited outside the consulate, there was another couple waiting already.
At around 7am, the guard opened up the door and let us in, we had to clear out our pocket and store anything that are not needed for the interview in a deposit box they provided. We then followed one of the guards to the elevator and went up to 10th floor if I remember correctly (the actual floor number wasn't shown at all for security purpose i think, but you could clearly see most of downtown Montreal from there.
So we were at the floors where the interview took place, it was based on first come first serve, and we were second inline before entering the building so I got my named called after about 10 mins, it was a big room and it was only for validation purpose, the officer verifed my name, ages and my files, then directed me to wait outside so another officer will call my name for hte actual interview. So I went out, sat down, they had free tea and coffee, etc. After about another 10 mins, i got my name called, and so both me and my wife went into a little room, the interviewer again, verified my name, age, and he looked at my wife's tax return, asked how we met, blah blah. Since I was missing some important information, he handled me a worksheet, telling me as soon as I mailed into the missing docs they will issue the visa. That's it, that was the whole interivew.
Basically we went in at 7am as second in line, and got out around 10am.
