I will start by saying that anyone who has an inpending interview should fear not. It was so so easy and left me wondering why i was so nervous beforehand. So trust me just relax it really is a breeze. I arrived at the U.S Embassy at about 7am. My appointment wasn't until 8:30am so i went for a quick starbucks which was just a stones throw away from the embassy. I then dropped off my personal items at the Goulds pharmacy and then proceeded to the embassy and entered the que around 7:45. On enetering the building i was given a number which was I907 and told to take a seat and to wait for my number to be called.I was sat around for about 15 minutes before my number was called, and was told to go to window 14. When i got there the lady at the desk took my fingerprints and asked me for my birth certificate and police certificate which i gave to her along with copies so i could get my originals back. She then asked for my affidavit of support form from my fiancee. I gave her the form along with her birth certificate and a letter from her employer. I offered her the tax/w2 forms but she said she that she didn't want them. I also tried to give her my co-sponsors support form and tax forms but she didn't want them either, which was kind of strange seeing as my fiancee is still in college and doesn't earn anywhere near the required income, but i wasn't about to argue. I was then given a pink slip to fill in and told to go and take a seat and to wait for my number to be recalled. I was sat around for about 45 minutes before my number was recalled and i was told to go to window 15. When I arrived there i was met by a very plesent man named Howard. First off he asked for my fingerprints and then asked my to print my fiances full name and sign my own at the bottom of a peice of paper. He then asked my a few very simple questions like, where did we meet, what does she do in america, and then he made me swear on oath that all the imformation given was true, to which i relied "YES". He then smiled at me and said you have been approved, welcome to america I was told my passport and form would be returned to me within 6 to 10 working days. It was all so easy, and i can't stress enough to anyone who is reading this that providing you have all the correct forms, just relax as you will be just fine
