I'll admit that I had been getting very worried about the interview, but I didn't need to! My interview was scheduled for 9am, and I was in the queue outside at 8.15. There were perhaps 60 people in front of me. I eventually got in and got my ticket from reception at 8.35, and took a seat. I had ticket I913, and noticed that I905 had just been called up. As many people had mentioned, the 'N' numbers were being called nearly every 30 seconds, but there seemd to be only two I's being called at any one time (One for the first interview and one for the second).
I was sat reading my book until 9.50 before I was called up to counter 13. The woman who served me didn't really say a lot. She asked for my certificates, then my I-134. She asked for the supporting docs. I gave her my fiancee's letter from her employer, which she studied ("She has worked for Target for a long while!"), and then asked for anything else. I gave the latest tax transcript from the IRS. She asked if I had anymore, to which I said I had loads, including payslips, mortgage info, stocks & bonds, but she said she was ok with what she had. She then took my finger prints and photos and I was given a pink courier form and told to wait until I was called for my second interview. I was only there for 10 minutes.
I was sat down until 11.20 worrying why I seemed to be the only one in the whole room with a pink form instead of blue, and was then called for my second interview at counter 16. The American guy there got me to write my fiancee's name out, swear I was telling the truth, and as he was filling something out aked me a few simple questions - How did we meet, what did she do for a living, what did I do, When and where was our wedding. That was it! Then told me I was approved. I asked if it was fine to get a one way plane ticket, and he said "Of course - You're moving there!" I paid my courier fee (The only thing I was unhappy about - having to pay an extra £22 to have it delivered before 8am) and left a happy man!
