Rating: | Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
interview date:May 05,2011 @ 6:30am
I was with my husband during the entire interview...we were already at the embassy grounds at around 5:30 am..first,I presented my appointment letter and US passport of my husband..at 6:00am we're already inside the embassy, they checked my bag be sure not to bring cellphone, liquids etc.,got our no. @ window 2 and dropped the appointment letter at window 39..
waited for an hour...@ 7:30am preliminary interview
when did we got married, when and where did we met, what's his work, looked for some letters and chat logs, check for other wedding pictures..and finally i was instructed to sign the last part of ds-230 and that's it we were instructed again to sit and wait..
after a few minutes of waiting again our no. flashed again and we were instructed to go to window 40...for fingerprinting..be sure your hands are not sweating..
and waited again @ approximately 8:45am we're on our final interview..she was an American lady..she asked us to raise our right hands for the oath..recognized my husband that he was a Filipino..she even congratulated us for celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary..and checked on our papers..and after few seconds she told us congratulations your visa was approved and that's it were done...
it was just the Filipino guy who asked us many questions but not the CO..
waited again for the last part @ window 72 I was asked to fill-up a form for the delivery of my visa..@ 9:15am we were already done and able to go out of the embassy...
be sure to be prepared...bring all the necessary documents...
I hope this would be a great help to you all and wishin' you all the best!!!
